Today we passed a milestone in the history of health care in the nation of Romania. Under Dr. Ovidiu and the manager of the municipal hospital of Oradea we conducted a prototype training for ten patients and medical personnel. Afterwords we had the privilege of meeting one-on-one with several of the patients to help them resolve their stress.
We found them to be very responsive and eager to get help. It is amazing that behind their smiling faces they carry such a load of stress and grief. What a joy, however, to see them come to freedom, joy, and peace.
The time of sharing the benefits of stress resolution was a great reminder of Psalm 67. “God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations” (Psalm 67:1-2).
On Monday evening, we enjoyed a Bible study with a handful of eager students. We were able to share the story of how we met as well as the importance of living for the Lord with all the energy and strength He gives us as well as being willing to give our lives for His Kingdom sake. We shared the story of Isaac’s passing and the opportunity the Waller family had to go to Mongolia.
