This past week we went to Houston, Texas for a State home school convention. Since we were in town, we visited two of Priscilla’s Sisters who live there.
David enjoyed visiting with his brother-in-law discussing concepts of leadership and management.
Paul loved playing with all of his cousin’s toys.

Paul has had a growing interest and enjoyment of playground equipment and has gotten to be quite a climber.

Homeschool Convention With the Duggars
Many have asked, “What does David do for work?” Well, here you have a small part of it. Both of us grew up in homeschool families and David has been blessed to work with homeschoolers in many different capacities. This past week, we went to a convention and assisted the Duggar family as they shared with thousands of people some of the things that have helped them along their journey in life.
Book signing can be quite an undertaking. This one lasted over two hours with hundreds of people moving through wanting to shake hands and get a picture with the Duggar family. 
David coordinated some of the logistics and filled in as a photographer for all of the people coming through the lines.
It is one things to get to hear a little about the Duggar family, but when we made some books available that the Duggars enjoy, it gives people some lasting information that can impact their lives.
After a busy day in sessions the little ones went out for some fun on a splash pad.
Paul had so much fun playing with other children, even if they were quite a bit older than him.
No, Paul is not for sale, even though one of the boys playfully put a price tag on him. Paul is simply a priceless treasure we would not trade for anything!
On the final evening of the convention, the Duggars did a music presentation as well as share their personal life stories as testimonies to the power of God to change lives.
So many have appreciated the humble way the Duggar family has shared the lessons they have learned either by failure or victory in their personal lives.

We are so thankful for you. You are a blessing and a treasure! It is amazing to see you two serve the LORD at Conference (Sac.) and to see the love you both have for Paul. You are sweet parents. :O) We are praying for you all and are super excited to see the gender of the new baby. Thank you for being an encouragement to all of us. I was so happy to meet you guys at the THSC Convention! I remembered Priscilla telling me you guys would find out if you were having a boy or a girl. I can’t see to find the answer. Maybe I’m not looking hard enough. I hope you guys are doing well and many, many blessings to you and your family <3
