Baby Shower

On Sunday afternoon, our precious church family threw a very kind and generous baby shower. Children are a blessing from the Lord, and it was so touching to see so many celebrate the soon arrival of our precious little girl. Our family has been so cared for and loved by our church family and it is evidenced in so many ways! We are very blessed! So many brought delicious snacks and treats that we all enjoyed Davia eyed many of the delicious treats. However, one of the items looked yummy, but once you got closer the realization set in that the...

Father & Son Camp

This weekend, we returned from a trip to Northwest Arkansas where we enjoyed a family-focused time away. Priscilla, Davia and Phillip took some time with Priscilla’s sister, while David spent some time with Paul at a father and son men’s camp. We drove up together and relished each moment knowing we would be apart for the longest time yet since we got married–two days :-). We pulled up to Fort Rock Family Camp and enjoyed the beautiful location situated up on a hill overlooking a valley off the Pig Trail Highway in Combs,...

Summer Fun

Once again, this post is long overdue, and yet sometimes things are better late than never. Thus, we will try and share a few highlights of the last few months based on the pictures that we have readily available. Since many often enjoy watching a little video of Priscilla sharing a pregnancy update, we will start with that. Recently, the whole Waller family was able to gather as a family in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Pictured above is the group photo with the whole clan of 26 of us in front of a home of David’s great-grandmother....

It’s a Girl!!!

Any chance we have to celebrate the miracle of life, we celebrate! Soon after we found out that we were expecting, we called our family and friends so they could rejoice with us. Priscilla’s younger sister, Anna, almost immediately asked if we were going to find out the gender. When she heard we wanted to find out, she and her husband Josh offered to do a reveal party. Josh and Anna had already planned a trip down to East Texas during the time that Priscilla’s parents were going to be in town, so it seemed natural to invite...

Happy Birthday, Paul!

Happy Birthday, Paul!

“Mommy, how many days until my birthday?” That question must have been asked nearly daily in the months leading up to Paul’s 5th birthday. It was such a special day celebrating the life God has given. He has brought so much joy and fun to our home. He also has become quite a kind, loving and helpful young man. Priscilla did an amazing job, as usual, of making the celebration festive with many decorations.  David’s siblings were also able to come for a visit including Adam and his wife Valerie and their children. Lydia...

Baby Shower

Children are a blessing from the Lord! A great way to demonstrate our love for the Lord is by loving children and celebrating their arrival into this world. Monday night, Priscilla hosted a baby shower for two expectant mothers who are our friends. Instead of doing all of the food on her own, Priscilla asked each guest to bring some snacks or desserts to share. Priscilla, Paul and Davia made the cupcakes which were a huge hit among those attending the party. The little girls had a ton of fun and Davia was in the midst of it all. One of the...

6 Year Anniversary

The years have flown by since we said “I do” six years ago! February 4 was our six-year anniversary and to celebrate we took a five day time away–the longest time we have been apart from our children. We were so glad that we have such good friends as Robert and Kendalyn Staddon who kindly offered to have them stay with them. We had a nice meal together along with some good fellowship, tucked our children in bed, saying good bye and drove away into the sunset :-). The next morning we drove down to Galveston, Texas to catch a...

Christmas in Florida

Christmas in Florida

Each year we trade spending Christmas with one side of the family and Thanksgiving with the other side of the family. This year, it was time for us to spend Christmas with Mom and Dad Keller. Deck Project As a Christmas gift to mom and dad Keller, the children pulled together to make two porches. Of course the front porch was the last thing that we worked on and thus our family picture was on a partially completed porch. 🙂As usual, projects always take a little longer than we would guess, but with many hands, we made slow but steady progress....

Family Update

Time seems only to become more full as the children grow and our schedules get busier. Life is filled to the brim and overflowing. We are long overdo to update our family and friends on our blog about the happenings in our life. Here are a few recent events of mention: Family Camp David’s work recently put on a Family Camp. The children especially enjoyed being a part of the stick horse rodeo portion. Paul and a fast found friend riding their horses. Phillip taking it all in, his style. Barrel racing at its best! Another highlight was a...

Family Camping Trip

For our family, camping is always memorable. Thankfully, for us, all of our memorable moments were really good ones this time. However, in preparation for the camping we often anticipate the worst to happen and pack enough things to make even difficult circumstances pleasant. On this particular camping trip, we had no agenda but to rest, spend time as a family and enjoy being together for nearly a week–what a treat! The trip started off with a nice five hour drive north stopping a few times to fill up on fuel as we advanced toward...
