What a fun celebration of the arrival of Paul William! With Priscilla up and feeling much better recently our dear friends hosted a beautiful baby shower. What an event! DavidlovesPriscilla00002

Walking in the door, we were greeted by a home filled with loving people and good food.

DavidlovesPriscilla00009David’s mother, Sue Waller has been a huge blessing and encouragement to have around to help and encourage and always offers her loving arms to cuddle her first officially “Waller” grandchild and third grandchild.

DavidlovesPriscilla00003Becky wrote a song for our wedding that David sang, “Together we will Serve” and continues to be a great friend and prayer partner for Priscilla.

DavidlovesPriscilla00005What a blessing to have older and wiser mentors to encourage us as we raise our son to love and honor the Lord.

DavidlovesPriscilla00006Did we mention the food? Yum!

DavidlovesPriscilla00001How about the decorations? This little banner reads, “A Little Miracle.” Very true! Every life is a miracle.

DavidlovesPriscilla00008I guess Paul must have seen the gifts! 🙂 People were all so generous and kind!

DavidlovesPriscilla00007Mrs. Barth was so gracious to give a devotional. Here Mrs. Waller and Mrs. Barth pose for a picture together. What a blessing to have such Godly people surrounding us.

DavidlovesPriscilla00010Robert and Kendalyn’s little girl Sauntina found David’s favorite gift– Rees’ Peanut Butter Cups :-).

If you found this post format to be helpful, please let us know in your comments. We still have a lot to learn about websites and how to make it easiest for our family and friends to be a part of our lives. ~David and Priscilla + Paul

  1. Wow- how wonderful. Yes this format is better, i like the bigger pictures with the description. I was just thinking did Priscilla go to hospital to have paul or was it a home birth? Thanks David for keeping us up to date on your blog- yours is one of my many favourites.

  2. Of course it’s a blessing. Thank you so much. There is a fan page on facebook for your family

  3. I’ll take pictures and updates any way I can get them! It looks like you had a wonderful time! I am so happy you are blessed with such a great support system. And the picture of Paul looking wide-eyed made me laugh out loud. So cute!!

  4. First of all,I love the new format. It is easy to read and I like the fact that the pictures are interspersed throughout and captioned underneath. What a marvelous idea, having a baby shower after the birth. Your narrative makes me feel as if I’m right there. Paul is adorable. The picture of him wide eyed and looking surprised. Priscilla looks beautiful and content. You are obviously a doting husband. Both of you are an example of a Godly marriage. I wish I had that kind of example as I was growing up! May the Lord continue to lead you and your growing family. Again, thank you for sharing your lives with us!

  5. I love how Paul was part of the baby shower! How special!
And I love the picture of the little girl looking at the chocolate… such a priceless fun pic.

The new photo format is GREAT!

    Blessings.

Great idea! Thanks for sharing that with us! We will have to do that sometime as the Lord directs.

  7. May God guide and bless you. Thank you for being an example and an encouragement to young people; they certainly need it in todays world.

  8. It took me a little while to even identify how you’d changed the format. This way people like me who don’t always open thumbnails do get the full content. For pictures, it’s probably best.

  9. Hey David,
Also when you have few kids people don’t give you a shower. So, you can give them a diaper shower, since they have baby clothes and toys. All the guests give you diapers.

Great idea! I never appreciated how much diapers can cost until I started having to buy them a pack a week! 🙂

      1. Yes! Do you think I could e-mail Priscilla sometimes? She looks and acts like a very sweet lady.

You are more than welcome to contact us using the tab on our web page that says, “Contact Us.” It has been hard for us to stay on top of our e-mails, but we do enjoy getting mail. 🙂

  10. I like this format better too.

The shower looks like it was amazing! Little Paul looks like he is well taken care of by many loving hands. Mrs. Waller is positively glowing!

Can I make a request? So many people are asking about the birth, maybe when Priscilla is feeling up to it, she could give us the lowdown? With so many people praying for you, and following your struggles, successes, your triumphs, and your failures, the birth of a child is one of God’s greatest miracles so of course we’re curious. I’m sorry if that seems too forward, but it would answer some of your readers questions. Thanks in advance!

  11. The Format is great!! Anyway glad to see how well you two have adjusted to parenthood. Now your family is complete.

  12. Your blog is such a blessing to read! What a beautiful child. Congrats! I love the new format…so much easier to view pictures.
    God Bless,
    Deanna

  13. Love the format. What a lovely family. Priscilla: You look absolutely beautiful! Congratulations!

  14. Congratulations. Given the state of the world, I’m grateful to see 2 (now 3) great mission-minded servants proclaiming God’s word. Thanks for your work in making Christ known.

By the way, if you or a family member has a Costco membership, it is a great place to buy both diapers and wipes. Saved us a lot of money when we were at that stage.

  15. Yes, I really like the new format. I was not sure if it was just my computer or something else with the other format. I would click on a picture and when it would open–it would only be that one picture and you could not advance to any other pictures–and the pictures were smaller. Thank you for your lives and testimony! Thank you for being such Christ-like examples in this present world. Congrats to you with Paul! What a blessing!

  16. Hi Mr. David and Mrs. Priscilla,

I’m 22 years old. I been searching to find Christian places that young people around my age joined that taught about God and to follow Jesus through life while guarding our heart, soul and mind so I was wondering if you all could give me information about Journey to the Heart place. I’m looking for information about it to see what it’s about because I’m thinking about going there myself but before I can I need to give my parents information about it. I saw they had a website but could you tell me what you all did there that you enjoyed please? Thank you!

Sure thing! I know you will be blessed through it if you have the opportunity to attend. You can learn more at iblp.org/journeytotheheart. Also, there is an unofficial blog called livingthejourney.com that many journey alumni post on. It is an encouragement as well! God bless!

  17. That’s nice, I like the Photos, glad Priscilla was feeling well enough and much better to go, so nice to have a Baby Shower after their Baby, Paul William Waller, was born, never heard of that before, lol, so sweet, glad everyone had a great time and enjoyed the yummy food and thanks for sharing other stuff as well, etc.

  18. I heard the beautiful song “Together We Will Serve” at your wedding and was wondering if it is published anywhere and or available for purchase. Thanks!

  19. Is the song “Together We Will Serve” published anywhere? or available for purchase?
